Concession Stand Staffing
The concession stand is an important source of revenue for SCSL. It provides money for improvements on the fields, new equipment, etc. It is also a ready resource for a quick dinner and snack during our games for the fans.
Each team will be assigned a certain period in a week to cover the concession stand at Darrell Shell. If your game is assigned at another location, you are still responsible for covering the stand. When assigning the weeks, we will try our best to prevent this but that may be impossible at times.
The TEAM PARENT is responsible for seeing that the stand is staffed for the assigned times. That does not mean you have to work it yourself.
Due to our safety protocols, children of the volunteers may work the shift of the adult volunteer, however, they must be at least 16 years old. At no point should a child under the age of 16 be left to work the concession stand without a parent volunteer.
The SCSL Board will be opening and closing the concession stand.
When making the schedule for your workers, please include the HOTLINE Number, 966-7408. If games are canceled due to inclement weather the message will be on the HOTLINE by 4:30 pm during the week and as early as possible for Saturday games.

Concession Stand Hours
Darrell Shell Park
Weeknights: 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm (If only 6:00 pm games)
Weeknights: 5:30 pm - 10:00 pm (If 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm games)
Saturday: 8:30 am - 9:00 pm (Unless otherwise indicated on the concession schedule)
Children of the volunteers are welcome to work along with the adult volunteers however, the child must be at least 12 years old to assist with hot food or drink preparation or the collection of money.
If games are canceled after the concession stand is opened, please call the person responsible for opening and closing. There is a list in the concession stand with names and numbers of the open/closer.
DO NOT LEAVE THE CONCESSION STAND UNTIL SOMEONE ARRIVES TO LOCK THE DOOR.
